Etching is a photographic engraving process which chemically creates the relief effect normally achieved by removing metals with a rotary cutter. On flat sheets it is far more versatile and precise than engraving. Hockerill Engraving has combined traditional methods with modern computer technology to create images which are as deep as, or even deeper than, conventional engraving.

We work with signmakers, designers and manufacturing companies to achieve their specific requirements.

We can manufacture signs, plaques and labels

on stainless steel (satin or polished), bronze, brass, copper and nickel-silver
in a variety of sizes
using your own artwork, sample, or your rough sketch ideas for us to create artwork
to include paint infill to colour specification
